Rolando Teleg Qimbo Jr., UAP
Rolando T. Qimbo Jr. is a Filipino architect whose career has spanned the Gulf and Asia — from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to Japan — designing buildings made to endure their climate and their time.
A career built one facade at a time.
Rolando Qimbo has spent nearly three decades designing across ten countries — beginning in Manila, then through Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Kuwait, where he continues to practice today. From private villas to 7-star hotels and office towers, his work returns again and again to a single question: how a building meets the eye, the street, and the climate around it.
Whether you're a developer pitching investors, an architect needing renders, or a homeowner building once and building right, the work begins the same way — with listening, and a precise set of drawings that leave nothing to chance.
Thirty years across the map.
From today's studio in Kuwait back to a Manila drafting table — every chapter sharpening the same craft.

Bachelor of Architecture
Graduated with an average of 87 and a board rating of 82 — the start of a lifelong study of how buildings meet climate and culture.
A facade is a building's first promise.
My work integrates minimalist aesthetics with modern innovation — but every decision answers to three things: how a building handles its climate, how lightly it sits over time, and how it looks decades from now. Sustainability and climate adaptability aren't add-ons; they're where the design starts.
